Dear Coach: One of the more challenging obstacles that coaches face is the number of untrained individuals marketing themselves as coaches. There are a number of ways to present your accomplishments and professional standing to prospects, colleagues and friends. The most prevalent of these options are: affiliation badges placed on your professional website and personal certification pages and digital badges that are viewed through links from a web page or via email. All of these options present an opportunity for the coach to demonstrate their accomplishments. At their most basic level, these are a way to capture and communicate what an individual knows and accomplished. As the CCA phases out the former Personal Authentication Links as we introduce new look and feel with Digital Badges. WEBSITE BADGES: Website Badges are easily added to websites by way of a screenshot and may also be shared as attachments to email, utilized on documents such as letters and PDFs. Website Badges contain the graduate's personal certification number. Website Badges are received directly from the CCA Support Team upon within a maximum of 10-days upon acceptance of affiliation. Please note that your school of coach training is not involved in the affiliation/certification process. All questions should be directed to [email protected]. BADGES AND NEW CERTIFICATIONS: Certification documentation AND learning hours completed comes by way of email. You will need the following email addresses added to your email address book and white listed: 1. Upon completion of the affiliation process, files will be reviewed and updated by the CCA Registrar who will add the coach to the Active Coach Listing, and initiate the following steps: 2. A Digital Badge with an accompanying document suitable for display will be created and be delivered by the CCA support team within 10-days of acceptance of affiliation. If after 15-days of notification of affiliation acceptance you have not yet seen the email from the support team, check your SPAM and Deleted folders and use your email search tool to search for all emails from [email protected]. 3. Upon completion of the affiliation process, files will be updated by the CCA Registrar who will then issue a Certificate of Graduation. The Certificate of Graduation identifies the course title and the total number of training hours completed. This document will come as an email attachment from the CCA Support Team at [email protected]. The document will arrive in the form of a LOCKED PDF and will arrive with a password. The instructions will be in the body of the email. Be sure to keep your password as the CCA will not have a copy. 4.
