Dear Coach:

The Certified Coaches Alliance we warmly welcomes you to reinstate your International Coach Certification. 

 

It is neither the mission or mandate of the CCA to govern or to limit your professional coaching practice in any way. Rather, the CCA and the Registrar of Coaches is charged with maintaining accurate records of the "active" and "non-active" status of our Coaches.

The CCA acts as a reference and point of contact for any individual requesting information on one of our Affiliated Coaches. As your official affiliation body, it is important that you maintain a consistent, ongoing relationship with the CCA over time. Your official International Coach Certification status is reliant upon keeping your affiliation with the CCA current. Your ongoing International Coach Certification is reliant on timely renewal cycles unless you choose to hold an Enduring Certification which requires no ongoing certification renewal process.

Benefits of Affiliation:

There are many benefits to being affiliated with a professional organization. The foremost is that the coach becomes recognized as an individual who performs their work under the guidelines of a professional organization that carries with it the guidance provided by a Professional Code of Ethics and Standards. This alone, affirms globally that the coach takes his or her work seriously and this promotes further, the professionalism of coaching.

The CCA permits the graduate to carry a specialty niche rather than receiving a generic designation such as Certified LIFE Coach. One size does not fit all.

The CCA does not maintain that any coach must obtain ongoing learning units that the coach must undertake and spend their financial resources on with each new renewal. The reason that the CCA puts no emphasis on this is that most coaches stay working in their chosen niche and simply get better at their job, rather than spreading themselves thin in areas they may not take particular interest in. Ongoing educational units to keep certification should be the decision of the coach, rather than mandated.

Terms of Service:

For your convenience the CCA provides you with a PayPal gateway as a convenient way of paying for and keeping your International Coach Certification fees current. The CCA does not have access to your personal banking information. Any subscription that is purchased is processed upon its anniversary date via the PayPal system. Upon receipt of notice from PayPal that a payment has been processed via PayPal our Support Team will contact you via email with a confirmation. It may take 24-hours for us to receive a PayPal notification.

PayPal Subscriptions:

For your convenience the CCA offers payment for International Certification via PayPal. PayPal will automatically process your renewal each year as a subscription on the anniversary date of your purchase until you cancel the subscription. Please note that we DO NOT have your banking or credit card information. When using PayPal, your banking and personal information is kept confidential. In future, should you decide to pay for ongoing certification via a different method or choose to close your International Coach Certification you must turn off the subscription in your PayPal account at least 48-hours before the next transaction takes place.

*Making any changes to your PayPal account, such as adding or changing your personal contact information, changing banking information or a credit card that you have attached to your will automatically cancel any subscriptions that you have through PayPal.

Refunds of Certification Fees:

There are no refunds for any reason, on Certification fees that have been processed. Upon placing your initial order or renewal of certification several events immediately spring into action: a) our office is noticed by PayPal of the transaction, b) the Webmaster updates your Online Authentication URL, c) our Support Team immediately orders and pays in advance for the printing of your new documentation that will be sent to you via the post service.

What if I don't have a PayPal account?

If you do not have an active PayPal account you may still use this gateway to pay for your certification using either a Visa or MasterCard. Once you begin the payment process you should see a text link that says "Don't have a PayPal account? Click here." Please note that some geographical areas do not display this link.

Is there further help I can access?

In the unlikely event that you are having problems with the payment process you have two options. You can request that our office send you a PayPal Invoice to the email address connected to your PayPal account or you can contact the Graduate Liaison at the school of coaching from which you have graduated. Your Graduate Liaison may have alternatives that can assist you in this process.
